Ed, Andy and Joe met as students at Oxford University; after a few late night musical fumbles in various bedrooms and public toilets, they decided to form the Clarendons in an icecream parlour, coincidentally 9 months later. We released our first EPin September 2007 and are currently beating out their first album. This album should be completed and available mid March 2008, subject to the jury's verdict on Andy's messy sexual assault tribunal.
The Odours, are a completely different band (with Ed, Joe and Marco in it - sometimes Andy)... who randomly go to some poor unsuspecting girl's room, and sing her a wonderfully grotesque song - all the "ode to"s are from The Odours. Below is "Ode to Rose" (Andy is on the pans):

We are headlining Manchester Academy 3 next month on the 28th January, it’s going to be a big show and we want YOU to be a part of it. Not only that but if you buy a ticket through us you get our new demo on the night ‘Insomnia High’ as it will be our demo launch night.

The clarendons really do seem to becoming quite popular now though!! Actually can't beleive that nobody seems to have answered your competition yet though... I mean missing the chance to have their very own ode - fools!!!!
