The Clerics are a three piece band based in Hamilton, New Zealand.
Playing short, aggressive, sparingly melodic, intensely furious tunes with bass, keys, guitar, drums and voice, The Clerics' music is a fashion of posthardcore they brand 'scum-core'.
In 2004 The Clerics started taking their music to the people in a series of gigs across the North Island. 2005 sees The Clerics producing copious amounts of new music which serves to expand their live performance exponentially.
In February 2005 The Clerics released Graveyard of the Dead, a nine track album (with bonus video). June 2005 saw The Clerics hitting the road to support the release of their second album: The Bitches Will Fly.
