About The Cody Blue Band

What was originally suppose to be and opening act for a few shows has turned into a full blown blues band. When asked to open for his good friend Lance Lopez at a local club, Cody Blue began to put together his old band. Since the original members now live out of state he called upon a few friends to help him with the gig. The first person he called was a local drummer by the name of John Redmon. John has played with various local bands and was looking to do some playing. Next Cody found a lead guitar and a bass player, but they flaked out two weeks before the gig. Stuck in a bind he called upon his friend and local guitar legend Rick Turnpaugh. Since he needed a bass player as well he had Rick ask his brother to take on bass duties. Thus forming the "New" Cody Blue Band. The gig turned out to be a success, and that my friends is how it began. NOTE: YOU CAN ALSO SEE RICK AND ROB TURNPAUGH WITH THE LOCAL SUPER GROUP CRASH LANDING

The Cody Blue Band will be performing their last show on Saturday January 19th. We are not breaking up. We are giving everyone a chance to concintrait on their current bands.
