Since their formation in 2003, The Coggs have redefined the Indie-rock scene in Ottawa, deriving their inspiration not only from contemporary circles, but also from more traditional sources, including Chicago, New York, Memphis, Motown, and the Mississippi Delta.
On May 27 2006, The Coggs released their much anticipated first full length album "Blackjack and Cigarettes". The Coggs 2nd CD, "Mean Dog Howl" was released in November 2007 to strong reviews. Both CDs can be purchased at CD BABY
We just couldn't help ourselves! IndieCan has included The Coggs in our year in review radio show which is now available for free download to bands, fans and anyone. The whole world ( or 1/1,000,000 of it - but spread out over 100 countries) is listening and loving Canadian indie. Come be a part of Rock 'n' Roll Music to the world EH!
Next week, we feature you, so "alert the media" - this week we give 'em a teaser.
Have a great 08!
