THE COMEDY BUS SERIES GIVES REASONS TO LAUGH DURING TOUGH TIMES WITH NEW DISCS “LAUGH TRACKS” AND “CRACKED UP” AVAILABLE AUGUST 25
The Comedy Bus is giving us reasons to laugh during tough times this fall with the release of their CD/DVD Laugh Tracks and Cracked Up, available in stores August 25. This hilarious family friendly series features some of today’s top Christian comedians: Bean and Bailey, Mike Williams, Leland Klassen, Rich Praytor, Kristy Byers, Robert G. Lee, Paul Aldrich, Gordon Douglas and Kelly Sisney, all performing clean stand-up from a Christian perspective.
Laugh Tracks features Kristy Byers’ side-splitting take on being single, while the comedy duo Dave & Brian use their musical talents to explore young love and heartbreak through the lens of pop culture. Canadian Leland Klassen offers some hilarious observations about our neighbors to the North and Gordon Douglas riffs on the myriad of differences between men and women. Robert G. Lee, Mike Williams and Bean & Bailey round out this outrageous crew.
For a double dose of comedy, Cracked Up serves up a whole new batch of laughs kicked off by hilarious host Mike Williams. On this DVD, funnyman Paul Aldrich offers his take on the TV theme songs of our youth, Atlanta’s Kenn Kington jokes about the problem of too many choices today, and Kelly Sisney admits to being afraid of the parking crew at her Kansas mega-church. Dave & Brian, Gordon Douglas and Leland Klassen return as well, bringing the laughs in a family- and faith-friendly format that doesn’t require the kids to leave the room.
“Comedy fans are going to love these DVDs! We need to laugh…and the Comedy Bus delivers the goods. Buy all four of the current DVDs and you’ll never get off of the floor,” says Roy Morgan of Premier Productions.
Laugh Tracks and Cracked Up are the follow-ups to 2008’s Class Clowns and Laugh Out Loud. These new titles are the second phase of The Comedy Bus Series from INO Records and Premier Productions, with a total of five in the making.
The laughs don’t just stop on your television screen with The Comedy Bus either. Fans can see the comedians live this fall as The Comedy Tour makes its across America, reminding us all that God definitely has a sense of humor.
