Erupting from the volcanic town of Bend, Oregon, The Commercial Underground have created their own sound called Vibrant Rock. It is a collaboration of heavy melodic guitars, a thunderous rhythm section, and soaring vocals.
The concept of the band lies within their name. While drawing from such musical influences as rock, blues, classical, funk, and country, the band remains open to experimentation in the studio. Live is another matter, where the intent is focused on high energy, heavy Rock and Roll. The songs are upbeat, positive, with more arpeggiated riffs than power chords, along with high range vocals on top of driving beats.
Their current release is the Volume 1 EP along with singles "Take a Ride" and "Virginia Dragoon". They will be releasing a full LP later this year, while touring the Pacific Northwest.
