"The Committed" was first formed in 2005 and has been gigging since. We are now signed to 3 National Agents and also book our own gigs and tours.
Having notched up numerous gigs up and down the country, we are now the new "HOT"Commitments Tribute Act to be performing throughout the UK.
We are planning to be the busiest COMMITMENTS Tribute Band in the world as our look, feel and sound are so close to the real thing. Check out the other bands and ask yourself "do they really sound like the originals?", that is what I did, and the answer is NO!
We aim to be THE most AUTHENTIC Commitments Tribute Band as we insist on re-producing the sound from the original band as accurately as possible without adding our own twists and turns to what is already an exceptional sound! In addition to this, we can tailor a set to your specification as our repertoir includes some of the best Motown and Tamla has to offer, from Aretha Franklin, to James Brown and from Dusty Springfield to the fun tunes of the Blues Brothers.

Oh, you people!!! Kelvedon Festival was yet another best gig ever...and I'm gonna miss you quite badly actually :( It's been an honour to play along side you all and if any band deserves to do stupidly well it's you guys. That much talent in one band is a VERY rare thing and I wish you all the best for the future.

It was GRRRRREAT!!! Well done to all of you in The Committed. You were awesome! Nice to know that when trouble is kicking off all over town on New Years Eve, people can come and watch Colchesters' hardest working soul band in Colchesters' safest venue; THE TWIST. The Committed ROCK . . . .
That was quite simply the best New Years Eve I can remember! (and I can remember rather too many, lol) Yet another top night and here's to a whole heap more in 2008. LOVE this band :)
