About me: The Committee is a project-driven theatre company that creates "Catastrophic Theatre." We produce plays that focus on periods of historical transformation, on moments where forces coalesce to create change. Founded in 2002 by Artistic Director Ken Urban and Business Manager Ryan Rumage, the company has presented over 15 new plays. On September 8th, our new production THE PRIVATE LIVES OF ESKIMOS opens for 16 performances at the Linhart Theater on 440 Lafayette Street.
