The Common Groove - BIO
The Common Groove was originally started as a 3 piece band, with the intent of focusing on writing and playing original material. Over the last 8 years the band has stayed true to writing, playing and recording their original material. The original songs are filled with melodic chord structures and rich vocal harmonies. Adding selected cover songs to their set list that showcase the talents of the band opened up many more venues where people could hear some of their favorite songs, but also allowed the band to gain a following of loyal fans that support their original material.

Each power amp is 300w @ 4 ohms, beleive it or not we run 2 dual 15 JBLs with the first two power amps and let the sub/low end do all the work -lightening the load on the mains... I use one powered/active MACKIE 18" SWA1801 SUB, huge sound, can fill up any bar with low end... I really have to make it out to see ya's... ttyl Brent
