About me: To all who have passed through our doors:
I am honored to have known you and I am grateful that you shared the
unique experience that was "The Share" with me. We took over "The
Share" four years ago and it grew into more of a home away from home
for many people. We have been a home for anyone who just wanted a
great drink, at a great price, served by a cool bartender while surrounded by interesting people.
I have always described it as an extension of my living-room. In my
living-room, my family is always welcome, always safe and always
comfortable. My "Share" living-room was always filled with every color
of the rainbow and people from all walks of life. Nothing made me
happier than to make you all feel special.
You are my babies and I will miss each and every one of you. I hope for
the brightest future for you all and promise to never forget your loyal
patronage. Let us make these last few weeks the best ever. Come out and show your "Share" pride! Christine A. Rhone (Chris) P.S. You never know what the future holds. Keep checking this page and

Nobody does it better. There are not enough words to express what you
have come to mean to "The Share". You are "The Share". You are

You are a manager extraordinaire. Sidney -- Thank you for always having my back. You have proven to be a
loyal and true friend and a most valued manager. We would have lost
our way many times without some of your wisdom.
Who I'd like to meet:
To all who have graced the steps of The Common Share and those who would have but weren't allowed out that night:
I extend my apologies for not being there to say farewell on friday. I planned my vacation weeks ago not knowing that we would close our doors the same weekend i would be away. I have enjoyed serving, laughing, listening, talking, and drinking with all of you. I appreciate your patronage and freindship. Thank you for creating such a unique environment in which to work and play. Without all of you, The Share would have been just another dive bar but instead, well, you know. I am going to miss you all immensely. To our staff: I love you all and thank you for holding down the fort. There is no way in hell that without your unique contributions we would have been so successful. I left my information cards and a large board that I would love for everyone and anyone to write and share their thoughts with me. Please let..s keep in touch. All I can say is. For my birthday month, I have been at the share everyday faithfully since August 1st. I rode my bday in with the share and I rode it out...I wouldn't have it any other way. Love you guys!
Why I'm up at 7:40 a.m. I do not know...it's beyond me...but anywho...thought I'd stop by...to uhhh say hey....think happy thoughts...nobody is gonna be sad :)
Seriously!!! This is insane! I tell people about the Share every where I go! Thank you for my brief encounter as a bartender! I know Sara was introduced to jagerbombs that night!! I felt so proud when I had my first share pic on the wall of fame! More than half of my college memories include that bar! The Share; its sun window, the magical jukebox which brought us all together, the OMG I hope I don't fall steps, the hooks for my purse and coat, the ARE THEY STILL IN THE BATHROOM TOGETHER, the 'we're going to walk up the street just to realize there is no other place you want to be and now you're mad because you lost your seat', The 'damn am I f'd up? Its only 7 on tuesday!!'...where everyone know's your name...or @ least they recognize your ass, bar!!!!!! Thank you.
IT'S STILL HURTING THAT MY WEEKEND HOME IS CLOSING, I'M GOING TO MISS MY FAM MOS DEF, HOWEVER THE SECOND YALL FIND A NEW SPOT LET ME KNOW AND I'M THERE ASAP, I HAVE SPENT 95% OF MY LEGAL DRINKING DAYS HERE AND MY WEEKEND'S WON'T BE THE SAME WITHOUT YALL. VIVA LA SHARE
I never thought this day would come...I've been coming to the share for 3 years and enjoyed every second.I'll miss it...Thanx 4 da drunken times!!!!! MIKE
you have no idea how much this is affecting people! where will we go now? i've been getting calls and texts from people i haven't talked to in AGES about you guys closing. we're all in shock and very upset! you guys were our extended family, our home away from home....WHY?!?!?!
