THE COMPANY HOUSE ...is a new music and arts venue in Halifax's North End.
The grand opening will be as a host venue for the 2009 In the Dead of Winter Music Festival.
As a listening venue, The Company House will primarily book folk/acoustic/roots acts but will vary with its eclecticism and artistic impression. There is seating for roughly 150 persons in a cabaret type of surrounding in what will be one of Canada's most celebrated performance rooms. Many of Halifax's most celebrated musicians and artists have helped in developing the space and also anxiously await its opening.
