Where did it come from??.......
Most people make the common mistake of thinking that this project came from the heart of fast moving New York but all 3 members of the band are London based, aged 19 to 20-something. Originally scouted out by Record Producer Christopher Brooks, who felt the need for something a little bit different on the streets of the UK. There was no requirement other than a desire to sing, recognising God as the giver of their phenomenal gifts. Everybody that decides to pick up a mic is promote and is giving off a message whether they like it or not. We recognised that so we wanted our message to be real concerning the youth of today. To be just as prolific as some of those who have stood out in musical history for their soulfulness as well as their ability. We wanted to speak up about the what lies underneath the veneer of young people trying to stay on the rails while being pressed on every side. The issues we face, what we have to deal with, what our needs are, and ultimately how we recognise that all would mean nothing if it werent for God in our lives. We dont wanna preach out anyone, were just keepin it real. Inspiration is priceless, This is the first time Ive been in a band that talks to young people.
Musical style has been described as ecclectic, incorporating many different styles of music, all high energy, crossing colour lines. Conceptually, the Matrix carries many of underlying tones which closely relate to the branding of The Company.
Signed to a independent label (BABY BOY RECORDS), already has a host of young urban projects in development.
They recently finished their debut Album, 'The Lost Code' which contains 16 Explosive songs ALL mastered at the Hit Factory NYC BY Herb Powers.
Songs include 'Donna Karen' (a underground HIT) currently spins on Choice Fm, KISS, Radio 1. and most if not all Underground radio stations.
Hits also include 'No Matter' a EXPLOSIVE song that brings three of the most powerful elements in music together: R'n'B, Hip-Hop and Rock.
The aim for the immediate future is to really familiarise the band as a whole to the world. To introduce the 3 members (REID, K-SHIN and ROCSTARR), and their characteristics, strengths and weaknesses to our audience. Let them see inside The Company.
On a more Long term basis we look forward to what the future holds. Weve formed some good relationships with some really good people ie Spirit Music (responsible for our distribution), quite a few outlets, agents , promoters. Weve been out to Europe and have been asked to do a tour out there. We are always interested in opportunities to do new things, forming relationships that can help things to move more mainstream, however as long as God continues to put that speacial ingredient in what we do, we will continue to blow up the spot!! I believe that someones life is at stake , and if theres anyone crazy enough to pull it off, CHECK OUT THE COMPANY!!!!

(Greenwich is BABYLON tho...Sooooooo far lol) You all have a really powerful ministry.
