We are a band out of Satellite Beach that does its recordings exclusively at
2ndFloorStudios.com
(Indian Harbour Beach.FL). We have been around for about 3 years and are looking to tour again. We have a new release (re-release) by NumberOnePunk.com called "Get Off My Grass" which the first track (Storm on Baghdad) was inspired by the Iraq war that we are currently in. We neither oppose nor promote the war - the song "Storm On Baghdad" is about the innocent civilians that were caught in the crossfire of this war. For lyrics and a bit more about us go to:
Our Website - www.TheComplainers.com
We have also written songs about serial killers / stalkers and their complete obsessions, latch key kids, pushy romantic partners, and self induced death / suicide. Many of the subjects that we touch on are horrific and basically not enjoyable to think about. These songs again are just a mirror of society and what it has come down to. They are not promoting nor denouncing anything. They are for the audience to decide how they feel about the subject material. We are currently working on a new album. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Major labels DO NOT CONTACT US - we do not need to become indentured servents by "GETTING SIGNED". We realize that all you do is basically give bands loans to repay. Then many times if you do not like their album or what they have to say or how they recorded it or whatever you can shelve the album or make the band re-record it. FUCK YOU! We have been approached before and nearly became victim to to your sleazy ways. Stay CLEAR of our way. We have enough support from fans who buy our records that we DO NOT NEED YOU! THANKS BUT NO THANKS!
Below is a review from
InterPunk - where we are also currently selling the album.
We have individual songs for sale
here.Fans of our music please buy the recordings that we create. This is how we make our living.
We also highly suport
NumberOnePunk.com they are a very fair label that distribute our music all over the place.
Interpunk Review...
"Just good catchy hook filled music to listen to. Indie style with similarities to Jet to Brazil, The Jealous Sound yet edginess that is like the Wipers. Check this release out. "Storm on Baghdad" really cuts into what it would have been like to be bombed by the U.S. while in Iraq, while "Restrain" challenges us to think about the mindset of a serial stalker. Another great song is "Roller". Deep stuff. Very Good Disc!" Rating: 4 out of 4 Stars"
