   About The Compost Band
If you want to know how to do-si-do or strip the willow - you need The Compost Band - if you already know how to do-si-do or strip the willow - then you have come to the right place. The Compost Band is an energetic and entertaining ceilidh (barn dance) band available for Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Fund raisers or any other event where a fantastic evenings fun is required. Allyson, Jamie and Alistair play a wide selection of traditional and modern dance tunes with enough drive to get the whole room dancing while Ian moves around the dance floor, teaching, then calling the dance as he goes with the aid of a radio microphone. Your event will be tailored just for you and your guests with special dances for children, the more mature dancer and everyone in between. We also feature a special dance called The Grand March to make any happy couple feel very special on their wedding day. By way of a word of comfort for the ceilidh fan who has yet to sample one of our performances - our act does not actually include any compost whatsoever. Please read our blog to see thank you letters from happy dancers. For more details please email us at thecompostband@hotmail.co.uk or give us a ring on (01905) 429151

Please note that Ian does fill his shoes with compost before each gig but dancers are safe owing to the fine wafting of Ali's bow. Much Love and Bookings to you all.
Paul
