   About The Comrades

NOTE: See my Blog Entry about the tragic death of Andy Goulbourn, our original drummer. Andy had an idea for a concept album called "At Arms" back in 1983; unfortunately the project fell apart soon afterwards. I posted the songs he wrote for the project as a tribute to him.

THE COMRADES: Experimental art punkers who love writing thought-provoking music and lyrics... Original band existed from 1983 to 1985, then broke up ... 2 songwriters reunited in 1990, got a new rhythm section in 1994 ... One songwriter went away and several lineup changes followed ... We have released 3 albums worth of material, and will be reissuing all the 80s stuff ... Current lineup is recording a new album ... We rarely, if ever, play live so you may never have a chance to see us ... Please visit our website and download ALL 3 albums for FREE!!!

You guys rock!!!!!!
I'm probably your #1 fan, I've been trying to push the invisible hand for years now. I think the whole album is genius. Oh well, their loss.
