The Condemned were formed in East Kilbride, Scotland. They started out in late 2006 when guitarists ML and Foley and bassist Sean met up in school and connected straight away on a musical level. They practiced together for over a year until they found the current drummer, Paul. They had many songs written and were ready to start puting their music out there, but really needed a vocalist.
Michael McBrearty, a friend of Paul's came along to a practice one day to hear his friend's band play and decided to help them in practice with some vocals. They recently acquired a new bassist, Wee Paul. As soon as they started playing they knew they had found something, and all got on really well.
Since their first gig in October of 2007, The Condemned have steadily been building a name for themselves as an important part of Glasgows metalcore music scene. They have played quite a few gigs now that have went down very well with the loyal fans who persistently put on as good a show at gigs as the band themselves, by singing along, going crazy and generally having a good time!
They will be exploding on to Glasgow's metal music scene this year, playing more and more gigs as well as writing and recording more material for all you fuckers out there!
soon to be available!
