關於 The Connecticut Blues Society

The Connecticut Blues Society is a non-profit organization, formed to support the community of blues fans and musicians in Connecticut. Many people are surprised that there is a blues community in Connecticut. In Chicago, Memphis, Detroit, St. Louis, even Boston, blues enthusiasts know where to go to participate in their music. Blues in Connecticut is less localized. On any Saturday night blues clubs around the state feature national, and as important, talented local blues bands who keep the blues alive. The Connecticut Blues Society promotes a sense of community through its newsletters, special events, and by serving as a forum where blues fans and blues musicians can find each other. We hope you enjoy this web page, but we also hope that you also get out and support the blues in Ct.

I used to see James Cotton play there in the late eighties when it was Gemini's Cafe.Now with new owners,interior,atmosphere,menu and new stage.Casual,tavern-style dining with plenty of room to dance.Come on down and party with us on Aug 15th.
