I especially like the vivid colors in that Madison Drive video and the dark grimy feel of the Valis vid. The MP3 movie cracked me up too. I love movies and I know its stupid, but one of my all time faves is Death Race 2000 with David Carradine and Sly. Machinegun Joe McTurbo.... heh heh!! Roger Coreman made some cool low budget films.

The Georgetown Orbits	May 13 2009 4:39 PM If you live in the Northwest and plan to make one trip this summer, I recommend checking out the Victoria Ska Festival! It's the only event of it's type in this corner of the world, and it's a quick drive and ferry ride up, or just a hop onto the victoria clipper, which takes you from downtown Seattle right to downtown Victoria. The Festival runs from July 8-11th and has 2 or 3 shows each day, all within walking distance. All information about the shows, transportation, and accomodations can be found at www.victoriaskafest.ca Yours truly, the Georgetown Orbits, will be opening for Chris Murray and the Slackers on friday night at the Ship Point Inner Harbor Stage! In local news, the Georgetown Orbits are booked for the following summer shows in the Seattle area: May 22 @9pm at the Anchor Pub in Everett (this is a rollergirl afterparty) May 25 @5pm at NW Folklife's Reggae showcase at the Mural Ampitheater in Seattle Center (opening for Clinton Fearon and Boogie Brown Band) Jul 18 @8pm at The Red Bicycle on Vashon Island July 25 @8pm at Bison Creek Pizza in Burien July 31 @8pm at the Comet Tavern Aug 7 @5pm on the Plaza Stage at the GORGE Ampitheater and Aug 8 @8pm at the MIX down in Georgetown (formerly the Christoff Gallery).
