Its been a steady rise thus far for GC/Brisvegas seven piece The Cool Calm Collective since their first gig @ Indy in 2006. Rounding out 2008 with a top 5 nomination in the MusicOz awards and kicking off 2009 with an earth shattering set at the Gold Coast Big Day Out as well as releasing their first EP (The Pauses and Progressions EP), its shaping up to be a stellar year for the GC/Brisvegas 7 piece. Just copped the EP on itunes a few weeks ago, after a young fella i worked with recommend you guys! ITS SO DOPE!!!! had it on cycle the whole time i was up in the cook islands, cant wait to see the CCC live!
