The venue features the 1000 capacity Balcony Bar and boasts 2 levels, 5 Bars, a full sized stage, and an international standard sound system. The hotel is conveniently located on the beachfront at Coolangatta close to public transport and free parking

Coolangatta Hotel was named a winner in the Queensland Hotel Association (QHA) '2005 Awards for Excellence' in the category of 'Best Entertainment Venue' .
