Sounds Like
noodles with synths...
if you want guitars, this aint the place
tinkering delights since 7 years of age...
I took apart the 50 quid Italian organ that my parents bought me for xmas and tuned all the notes to the same pitch. The organ then lived under the bed for many years... 'lets start a band" said Geoff whilst we were listening to 'DREAMING OF ME"..."ok" said I. The organ duly dusted...I played, Geoff sang. We sucked. Synths came early that Xmas of 81..."Mixed Feelings" were born...13 year old spotty little herberts, all hairspray and monotones...but we were good and got in to all sorts of trouble with school cos we played in "disco's"...anyhow like all good things it came to an end and I rolled over... i then embarked on many synthetic plonkings, like so many others, recorded from cassette to cassette...then a Tascam 244 came into my life at the same moment that girl walked out of it...boss pedals and Junos...teenage angst...it then got all a bit funky...I even got a rhodes...disovered a certain Mr Badarou and EBM, a strange concotion indeed...wound up working with N-Joi, which lead to working with Liam Howlett which in turn lead to me shifting to NZ...many lost and wasted hours in many a studio, honing the skills...20 odd years later, still honing...these days its self indulgent meanderings, the odd ad and jingle, the occasional doco or short film...and lotsa mixing of other folks tracks...
some of the tunes up here will be a bit old...might even put some Mixed Feelings up. If i can stand the shame of it.
