The story until now…

Our origins are very near…Just a second compared with the age of the World, just an instant, lost in the depths of Beginning…
The story begins in 2001-2002, when I Alfeo and Dario formed a strange trio of apprentice guitarists, without name and without goals, just to spend some time tasting the sound of our new passion: music. After one year and half spent to test our new skills, with different groups of different people, Alfeo discovered his new and inborn passion for drums (yes he started playing just 5 years ago!), so he decided to give up the guitar and form a new group. We wanted to enter the Metal Universe, tired of the close-minded flair of our little city. And it was a good idea, because we become part of the new wave of innovation that other groups of our town found out. Even Destiny was by our side, because I met two friends of my ex-girlfriend (an High and pale bass player, Matteo, and a hulking and rough guitar player, Diego) performing "For Whom The Bell Tools" with a female singer…It felt very sad to me see two souls blessed by Metal screaming silently the lyrics of that song, while the soft voice of the singer bounded gently the beast inside their hearts…
So I decided to free these poor pilgrims from their musical slavery of their old group, and I asked them to join us! The sparkle in their eyes was dazzling!
That's how the story began.
Now, after 6 years of countless efforts, challenges, smiles and tears, and after some guitarist replacement (Dario and his heir, Alessandro, are no longer in our formation), we have finally builted up a solid base of friendship and willpower, from which we will try to make a way through your metal heart. The fifth element of our formation, Andrea, was our greatest fan (that's funny!) and now is our brother in music. We are trying to learn as much as possible in both musical technique and, most importantly, every day's life, just to give you a priceless emotion while the entire universe is going to collapse on our heads. Thanks for your support!
Among all the performance we made last year we want to mention that on 29/7/06 we performed with Linea 77 in Montale, on 11/9/06 we performed with Eldritch in Pistoia, and on 15/03/2007 we performed with Graveworm at the Siddhartha club, Prato.
KEEP THE METAL FAITH ALIVE!

Chaos Core si formano nel 2002, quando 3 giovani musicisti pistoiesi (David Bonacchi [voce], Alfeo Ginetti [batteria] e Dario Cioffi [chitarra]) decidono di metter su un gruppo per fare un po' di sano metal, sempre carente nella nostra ridente ma bigotta provincia.
Tramite amici i 3 incontrano Diego Gavazzi [chitarra] e Matteo Giomi [basso], completando la line up e iniziando a fare cover (Metallica, Iron Maiden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, etc...).
Dopo circa un anno di cover, abbiamo iniziato a scrivere pezzi di nostra produzione, iniziando ad inserirli nei palinsesti delle nostre rare serate nella provincia di Pistoia.
Dopo circa 2 anni avevamo deciso che era il tempo di fare le cose un po' più sul serio, quindi abbiamo preso i pochi pezzi che avevamo e siamo andati a registrare una demo, che chiamammo "The Landscape Of Greed". Il risultato fu orribile, poichè le nostre limitate capacità e l'incompetenza dello studio, condussero ad un cd da prendere e buttare immediatamente nel cesso. Nel mentre Dario, vedendo la strada che avevamo intrapreso, decise che non era più il caso di suonare con noi, non era quello che voleva fare veramente (ora studia chitarra classica al conservatorio!). Quindi ci siamo messi alla ricerca di un nuovo chitarrista e nell'inverno 2005, dopo circa un mese da quando Dario se n'era andato, trovammo un degno sostituto, Alessandro Berti.
Con questa nuova line up abbiamo cominciato a suonare di più in giro, molto di più, affidandoci anche alla più alta esperienza di Dragozona, capo del forum metal toscano chiamato "Granducato di Metallo". Il "capo" ci ha procurato molte serate a Firenze, Prato, Calenzano, dandoci lo stimolo giusto per andare nuovamente in sala di registrazione ma questa volta per fare sul serio. Difatti, nel settembre 2006 allo studio All Music di Firenze abbiamo registrato una demo di 4 pezzi intitolata "The Destiny Machine". Purtroppo, i contrasti con Alessandro da parte di tutto il gruppo ci hanno costretto a chiedergli di andarsene. Abbiamo trovato in breve tempo un ottimo chitarrista di nome Marco Ferro, con cui abbiamo registrato il nostro primo cd. La sua
diversa concezione della musica ci ha tuttavia spinto a cercare un elemento più idoneo, con cui instaurare il vero legame fraterno di cui ha bisogno un gruppo musicale. L'abbiamo trovato nel nostro più vivo sostenitore, Andrea... prima nostro fan e adesso nostro chitarrista e fratello nella musica. Adesso pensiamo che gli elementi del caos siano tutti al posto giusto... finalmente, siamo convinti che riusciremo a dare a tutti voi il soffio delle nostre anime!
Nel frattempo danziamo al suono della ruota del caos, che inesorabile muove i cieli in attesa della fine!
