The Corner Store has been here since 1943. It started as a market then deli/market and over the years it turned into a dusty, dark store selling mainly beer, wine, cigarettes and candy. Then two wonderful Australian women took over and turned it into the most charming little sunny European market/cafe! Susan McKenna and Marissa Guiffre were the spinners who spun their magic in this cute little secret by the sea. They cleanned it up, added the best coffee in town and made it a place for people to meet for tea or coffee and fresh baked pastries. Clean San Pedro was born at The Corner Store and many problems have been solved over a Latte and a scone! It is now owned and operated by Peggy and Bruce Lindquist. We have added more sodas, pastries, wine, a gift shop and, more importantly, the breakfast and lunch menu. Some of the items are listed below. We have kept the ambiance and many of the English items that became well known with the previous owners.
