Formed in San Francisco in 2005, The Corruptors were basically a few close friends that happen to be musicians, dj’s and known drunkards. It’d start at the bar and then for some reason end as a guitar feedback session at one of the member’s studios. Somehow their livers held out long enough to get together some songs and after a few months (and members) they took the party to higher lows; the San Francisco rock scene.
There they found that outrageous displays of arrogance, enthusiasm, libation and hard rockin’ music was not only tolerated but condoned! Since then they’ve been in demand whenever Bay Area rock diehards have wanted an act that always delivers an added shot of kickass to an establishment in need. With the corruption well in hand at home, they now look to other houses to crumble.
Their forthcoming CD, “El Cortez” will most likely be the mallet they use.
Recorded at famed Hyde Street Studio C (Green Day, Dead Kennedy’s,
Exodus, B.O.C., Santana, CROSSTOPS) with Justin Phelps and Barry d Live, it captures the raw power, humor and firecracker licks of one of SF’s most exciting and rowdy bands.

Muddy River Nightmare Band would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being so blindingly hip that you want to add our fantabulous rock and roll band. We think that fucking rules... but more so, we are fucking honored that you would consider adding us out of the millions of angst ridden emo-core crybaby bands that myspace has.
With much love and appreciation... we raise a glass of PBR in your general direction.
Sincerely,
Fat, Angry, Old, and Drunk aka Muddy River Nightmare Band
