Recorded at Birdland Studios, Dung Australia was released on 9 June and is the band’s first release following the tragic loss of guitarist Robbie ‘Rocket’ Watts.
With Johnny Onya taking over guitar duties, Dung Australia reeks of the balls-out, grunged-up punk rock the Psychos pioneered.
The Cosmic Psychos released their first album in 1987, and have been tearing up stages around Australia and the world ever since. Arguably one of the most influential bands of their time, the Psychos have influenced many of their better-known contemporaries including Mudhoney, Pearl Jam and even The Prodigy, who incidentally based their track ‘Feel My Fire’ on the Psycho’s own ‘Lost Cause’.
With the release of Dung Australia this June, the Cosmic Psychos remain as raw, spirited and vital today as they ever were. Catch Melbourne's rock royalty at a venue near you for an experience you won’t forget!
We're playing tomorrow (Sunday 27/4) at IDGAFF with the Sacred Cowboys. 6pm start 160 Hoddle Street, Abbotsford. Please come. Sacred Cowboys are on fire and Pete's going to play whilst sitting on a broken drumstick.

Thank you very many 4 ADD:) Naming is the origin of all particular things. Free from desire, you realize the mystery. Caught in desire, you see only the manifestations. Yet mystery and manifestations arise from the same source. This source is called darkness. Darkness within darkness. The gateway to all understanding. Lao tze
