Dark Matter & the Cosmic String started as a side project with initial shows of rotating musicians from other bands. Initially a five piece, then a four piece and eventually settling on a 3 piece format with a shorter name of "The Cosmic String" for several shows until band members moved to other sides of the planet. A four song self produced EP was printed around 2004 with the songs "Always", "Orion", "In Denial" and "Shines" Further songs were written and shelved with hopes of releasing a full length in the future. Two new demos are currently playable here. -
