The Countryside Alliance Crew started out in 2003, bringing their sound system to local cattle market auctions and county fairs. Formed by rival farmers DJ Psylage and Farmer Giles Peterson in an attempt to settle their bitter land dispute, the crew quickly grew in size and now boasts almost 30 members to date. Brought together by a love for farming and a general concern for lack of rural representation in today's underground music scene, the crew are intent on bringing their unique 'farmcore' style to the forefront and initiating a rural takeover... .. The crew have performed at a number of venues throughout the country, normally passing up on clubs in favour of barns and festivals, or anything in a field. An introductory performance in 2005 in a barn near Liverpool ensured the CAC were here to stay. A year of gigs around the country and a massive show at Glade Festival 2006 brought the roof down. Since then the CAC have laid fallow, what with the wet winters of the last few years and foot and mouth hitting herds hard... .. Those hard times are over, and the crew are back in full farm effect! After getting together for a good old hoedown in Scrumpy Jack Frost's barn, they decided to give it all another go. The rest is history, after producing their smash hit 'Rural Essentials' getting tons of radio play and a Madia Vale Session for Rob Da Barn, the crew are set to storm the summer's festival stages with a petrol can of cider under one arm and a rubber pig under the other... .... ...... .. ..Pure Rural Essentials EP - Free Download!.. ..The Countryside Alliance Crew smash their way onto the scene with a totally massive rural selection for your collection. 4 huge hits from the biggest stars of the countryside scene available to download totally free! ABOUT THE CREW
