The County Session has established itself as one of the best acoustic sessions on the East Coast. Hosted by Merlin's Keep, it draws performers from such far-flung places as Northumbria, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, who get to play to a discerning audience. The setting is cosy and intimate and the punters appreciative and friendly.

I would love to come and play again. We both really enjoyed the gig and were refreshed by a discerning crowd that ha obviously come to listen to music, was great. We really enjoyed everybody else who we saw play as well; an evenings entertainment and a pizza on the way home, perfect.
I meant to write in at the time and say what a cracking night on MARCH 15TH. The Alliance had their best gig yet and look forward to returning later in the year - perhaps around Christmas when our depression songs might make a charming contrast to the insanity of that particular season. Anyway, splendid, splendid, splendid in every way. x
