Dress code: Goth/Alternative/fetish dress prefered - after all we are a goth club!

History
The Coven started in July 2002 at it's first venue Flame. Having firmly established itself as one of the driving forces of the gothic club scene, plugging the gap between London and Northampton, we moved locations to our current venue in January 2006 to The Hat Factory. Come March 2009, we had to move rooms, but have found a new home within Basement 2 and have now a capacity of 250 at our disposal. It's now upto you to fill it up!
Guest DJs
The Coven hosts guest DJs from time to time, and has a "keep fresh" policy and will try an bring in new guests as much as possible. If you feel you have "what it takes" by all means contact us, but experience is essential and again, we are fully booked for guest DJs in 2009. We are not interested in Laptop DJs.

We no longer booking bands, so please do not bother to ask!

Please note, we've now suspended dealings with EasyHotel. You're still welcome to book there for convenience, but the the pre-arranged Coven rate seems to be non-existant since the change of manager and we no longer recommend it as a quality hotel. Rooms should be £24.99.
Had an AMAZING night last night! Enjoyed the music muchly and had a good dance. I'm so so very glad that I decided to go afterall rather than catching up on my sleep.

Apologies if I was fucking wrecked and not making any sense by the end. Apparently I'd had the equivalent of half a bottle of vodka in a relatively small amount of times. Well they taste so innocent when combined with soda...
I had a great night and loved all the music - keep up the great work and I think I'll be over again - whether you like it or not!
