The bands list above indicates what is usually played at the Coven. If you can't find what you're into, then this site is not for you. We certainly do not entertain bands like Within Temptation, Dimmu Borgir, Children of Bodom, Black Label Society, HIM, Nightwish, Evanescence, or any other metal acts etc, and if that's your idea of goth, then I'm afraid you're sadly mistaken!

History:- The Coven started back in July 2002 at it's first venue Flame. Having firmly established itself as one of the driving forces of the gothic club scene, plugging the gap between London and Northampton, we moved locations to our current venue in January 2006 to The hat Factory.
Guest DJs
Although The Coven hosts guest DJs from time to time, we also have a "keep fresh" policy and will try an bring in new guests as much as possible. If you feel you have "what it takes" by all means contact us, but experience is essential and we don't consider Laptop DJs.
Please also note, we are currently fully booked for 2008 and not considering any guests for 2009 until further notice.
Also note that we only accept UK/Europeon GOTHIC/INDUSTRIAL bands/people, regardless of our own personal tastes in music. We really have NO interest in anything else, especially gothic metal of any kind.
We're also obviously keen to add people to the friends list, but please be aware that if you can't support The Coven on a regular basis, then don't expect to be kept on the site. Time wasters are removed constantly.
Don't forget, DJ Nephilimbabe also runs Thursday Fury once a month at The Blackhorse pub in Hastings Street, Luton.
