We certainly do not entertain bands like Within Temptation, Dimmu Borgir, Children of Bodom, Black Label Society, HIM, Nightwish, Evanescence, or any other metal acts etc, and if that's your idea of goth, then I'm afraid you're sadly mistaken!

Coming from out of town?
Easyhotel is 20 yards from The Coven, and the cheapest in town with specifically reduced rates for Coven attendees. (£19.95 + £1.50 booking Fee)
History:- The Coven started back in July 2002 at it's first venue Flame. Having firmly established itself as one of the driving forces of the gothic club scene, plugging the gap between London and Northampton, we moved locations to our current venue in January 2006 to The Hat Factory. Come March 2009, we had to move rooms, but have found a new home within Basement 2 and have now a capacity of 250 at our disposale. It's now upto you to fill it up!
Guest DJs
The Coven hosts guest DJs from time to time, and has a "keep fresh" policy and will try an bring in new guests as much as possible. If you feel you have "what it takes" by all means contact us, but experience is essential and again, we are fully booked for guest DJs in 2009. We are also not interested in Laptop DJs.

We no longer booking bands, so please do not bother to ask.

Had a great night last night! The band were great and all-in-all it was a thoroughly enjoyable night out. Really glad I went afterall rather than moping at home feeling ill!
Despite being sick and having to retire to our cosy orange hotel room early, we really enjoyed Coven last night. The tunes and atmosphere were great! Looking forward to next time! x
