The Coventry Mint is proud to offer live recording facilities to all bands.
This is NOT a stereo mix sent directly from the desk and put onto a CD; this is the 'Real Deal'. With a maximum of 16 individual inputs sent via the direct outs of the Soundcraft LX7 mixing desk to a PC with 2 x Delta 1010 soundcards, running Pro Tools LE 6.7.
Rates start at £50 for a basic mix, a standard mix at £75 and a comprehensive mix for £125
(including a two hour overdub session at a professional recording studio).

Basic Mix (£50):
You receive the raw files on DVD-R, the mixed pro-tools sessions, 16 bit master .wav's of each track and a standard audio CD.
Please note that this is a basic mix pannings, effects and compression are applied to best suit the entire set rather than fine tuned to the needs of individual songs.
Standard Mix (£75):
You receive the raw files on DVD-R, the mixed pro-tools sessions, 16 bit master .wav's of each track and a standard audio CD.
Please note that this is a basic mix pannings, effects and compression are applied to best suit the entire set rather than fine tuned to the needs of individual songs, although volumes are automated and special needs will be catered for upon request.
Comprehensive Mix (£125):
You receive all the benefits of the standard mix, plus a mix tailored on a song by song basis fine tuned with automation for the best possible results and the option (if required) of an evening with Warm Tide Audio to overdub vocals and tweek!

The Coventry Mint is also available for hire as a function room or private gig venue selected Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays. All you have to do is check the availablity and pay a £50 security deposit and the night is yours! The security deposit can then be redeemed at the end of the night, providing the Coventry Mint bar has made £200 and there is no damage to the premisis.

Please Note: If live bands or DJ's are required for your function you will need to book one of our in house team of Sound Engineers and DJ's. This is non negociable as damage can easily be caused and the relevant knowledge and insurance is needed to operate the sound equipment. The cost of a live sound engineer is £50 per night, and the price of DJ's can vary dependant on calibre, needs and genre so please let us know your needs so we can find you the best DJ for your function.

Hi guys,
I'm looking to book a gig with you at The Mint on Sundau 25th October. Unfortunately i can't give an alternative date because it is as part of a tour that my band, SLAB, are doing with the Maltese metal/hardcore band LOATHE. SLAB have played at The Golden Cross (as it was known then I think!) before on a Monday night with Left To Bleed and a couple of others. We had a great night and a good reception so we'd love to play there again and also show it to LOATHE. This is their 4th UK tour so there's a good chance they'd be back again!
We will be doing a lot of promotion for the tour, internet-wise and with flyers and radio. We would provide all backline necessary and can guarantee you a great show.

hey, sorry we could not message you but it would send? .. our band are from around nuneaton and we're looking for some shows from september ownwards and we would love a show at your place. we play kind heavy rock/ metal and you can hear it on our page, so if there is anything you think we could play at then that would be awesome..
