About The Cowboy, Hobo & Drifter
The group had various starts in the music business. Forming in its present form in the winter of 2006/07. Each member of the group had experience in performing professionally. It was the love of performing music and friendship that glued the group together. Cactus Willie is the nephew of bluegrass legend Lester Flatt. He learned to play guitar while listening to his uncle on the porch of his rural South Carolina home. He has opened for many big named artists such as Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Ray Price, Billy Walker and Bill Anderson. He has a guitar playing style simular to his uncles and yet his own. Boxcar Bob is a retired policeman from St. Paul with many years of singing in various folk and country groups. Like Cactus Willie he has opened for many big named artists such as Stonewall Jackson, etc. He is a songwriter, singer, great guitar and mandolin player. Wil Kelley is known as the Drifter. He has established himself in the bluegrass world as an outstanding upright bass player. A member of MBOTMA and a great musician and friend. His bass playing style fits the group perfectly. We first met some years ago at a Country Show in Isanti. It was from there that we new we liked each others music styles and attitude. At the Rio Grande Valley Music Festival was the first real show we all did together and it was great.

CountryHome Forum, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , is one of the biggest Forum for country music in Europe and part of CountryHome, www.countryhome.de , Germany's Premier Online Country Music Magazine.

CountryHome Forum have more than 5,800 members. Each news you submit to CountryHome Forum will released to my weekly Newsletter with more than 60,000 readers.

Please submit your artist news and events to CountryHome Forum to help your artists to get well known better in Europe. If you do not have the time to submit your artist news and events by yourself, please send it me to: Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de and I will submit them by myself to CountryHome Forum.

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.

I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.

Thanks

Christian

Hi Willie,

Am I really the first to put up a comment on your mysdpace profile?

I really enjoyed all the topics you came up with on A/F its a shame that there isn't really a similar forum here.

I look forward to visiting your profile here and enjoying some new songs that you have written in the near future!!
