Daniel Ferro- Grinning bad man and laughing gas fiend...can he mix it- yes he can. Loves it more than there are watch batteries in Japan. Refuses to eat cream or butter.
Andy Ellis- A world class expert in what the doctor is ordering. All comprising hero.
When the cheeky smile of Mr Winch and the formidable power of Fish Seeks Bicycle came along, the Crafties were instantly gobbled up, given a permanent headline residency and the fun busting was set to continue. Now the beautiful match is made together we have been spreading the fun policy far and wide. Big Luv to all those who work with us throwing some seriously good shindigs and to the Winch for slaving tirelessly to keep the sailors on board and the boat afloat. The residency with Fish seeks Bicyce is set to continue, meanwhile the Rascals are pushing their different musical visions as much as they can. They have supported the likes of Hyper, Luke Vibert, The Breakfastaz, Adam Freeland, Dreadzone, Krafty Kuts, Mani, Atomic Hooligan, The Freestylers and Tim 'Love' Lee to name a few. Thanks to all those who continually support us and to all of those gorgeous smiling faces that beam in the disco. Disco!

Daniel:-
I was in the back of my parent's car in the queue for Sainsbury's car park on a Saturday in Watford when I first heard 'Pump Up The Volume by M/A/R/R/S. I couldn't beleive my ears. It was new and different and exciting and even at the age of eleven I could not get enough. By the age of 12 I was making compilation tapes for my friends at school and I already knew that dance music was going to be a feature in my life.
At 13 I had latched on to my 16 year old next door neighbour who was going to the Raindance and Spiral Tribe illegal raves around the M25, poaching as many hardcore tapes as I could lay my mitts on. I absolutely loved it. Alone among my peers as the only rave kid in my year, I would religously listen to and record Don FM, Pulse and Green Apple. At 15 I had my first proper party experience.
After seeing the birth of Jungle I spent 2 years living in Italy which earn't me my first turntables and a good taste for House and Progressive House music. I returned in 1996 to a very different scene. The Fridge in Brixton from 96-98 was a truly exceptional place. With the use of magic boxes people like Lab 4 would change the world over the course of a few hours.
I took my first lessons in event production helping to organise the Easy Tiger parties in St. Albans hosting acts like Active Loopzone and System 7 and won my first residency playing a range from House to Acid Techno. It was then I heard my first breakbeats courtesy of Lloyd "Skool of Thought" Seymour of Supercharged Records and his crew.
On landing in Bournemouth for my uni years I forged a style between techno, house and breakbeat, much of which is still present today. The variety of influences I had through my younger years left me mostly with a taste for the cutting edge and the underground, from whichever era. There is a tangible energy in real music that is being made for progression and love rather than money. Luckily most breaks artists are saved of any pains of this variety! Ahh the joy!
Mr. Andrew Ellis and I crossed paths through a vigour for good music and good parties and almost through a course of nature, started to work together, throwing some of the best parties the South Coast has ever seen. Since then we have not looked back and although we enjoy dj'ing alone everybody knows that The Crafty Rascals are much greater than the sum of their parts.
Forged in the summer of 2004 in a cave somewhere in Dorset, The Crafties have been spreading the love without fail, storming the underground dance scene in Bournemouth, London, Bristol and Cardiff, supporting and aiding with the production of Fish Seeks Bicycle, touring the cream of the Summer's Festivals .
Andy Ellis -
Music is undeniably great, and I was taught this at the age of 6 by my first cassette player and the piano in my front room. From this point on I have played, studied, composed and danced to music virtually non-stop. The relationship looks set to continue.
Breakbeat is what first inspired me to buy and mix vinyl. I have since explored and enjoyed, perhaps more than any other genre, the numerous styles that sit under the mighty breakbeat umbrella. My path of discovery led me to some amazing house music, mostly minimal tech- a lot of it very closely linked with the nu-school breaks that are focused around the straighter 4/4. I particularly enjoy the party-orientated, mid-tempo, extra funked-up, juicy breaks as a warm up. From here, faster and harder is usually the order of the day watching carefully for that sunrise to bring out the minimal, sometimes stompy, but always filthy house. When the sun has definitely come up roll out the dub-reggae and anything fun to make you smile.
Any excuse and I'll bring out the swing, jive and rock'n'roll because you can't beat it.
There's something very special about a song that makes people dance. For me, finding and playing the best of these songs for myself and even moreso for a crowd is so exciting and rewarding that I hope they never stop coming.
To ensure that they don't ever stop The Crafty Rascals have turned their hands to producing their very own brand of dance-floor funk....watch this sp-sp-sp-sp-space.

Hey The Crafty Rascals, Hope your having a great week :) Loving what you do :) I have a bunch of new tunes on my profile that I would love to share with the community. Let me know what you think :)
Here we have the return of Digital Base to iBreaks.
This release has been played for quite a while receiving some amazing feedback from every artist who’s been supplied with the track.
The Climax, great summery track with the characteristic Digital Base vibe, full of intensity and melody. This track could easily fit from any dj playing in Ibiza to any breaks dj trying to get the girls shacking their body to the beats. A clear win win situation with The Climax and once again another great track under the iBreaks brand.
New World Order sees Digital Base in the remix duties, revamping one of the biggest track of all times in Dead Famous Records. The original track by Robosapiens has been reworked by mr Base injecting it with tons of groove good feel and squeezing the massive Stephen Hawking vocals… This is the New World Order!!!!
Antiworld, Q Club & HOMmega Productions Present: Astrix & Friends 004 The Tour Fri 30 Jan 2009 @ Q2 Birmingham Sat 31 Jan 2009 @ indigo2 @ the 02 London www. astrixandfriends. co. uk
Astrix returns to the UK for his most ambitious tour yet. On Fri 30 January he makes his debut at Bgham’s Q Club alongside local legend Sabretooth, who’ll be launching his new album, and Dejavoo live. Then on the Sat he’s following in the footsteps of dance music greats Tiesto, Paul van Dyk and Infected, taking on one of the world’s top venues, the o2’s incredible Indigo. As well as playing a live set of upfront tracks from his forthcoming third album ‘Red Means Distortion’ — and of course all the classic tracks that have kept him in the DJ Magazine Top 50 for the third year running — he’ll be launching new digital EP ‘One Step Ahead’, a limited edition multi-media production available on USB stick only. He’ll also be bringing along HOMmega label mates X-noiZe, Krunch and Delirious, who’ll be joined by the Antiworld residents. With X-noiZe and Krunch launching their new albums ‘Wheel of Misfortune’ and ‘Booster’, this promises to be one of THE psy trance events of 2009. The credit crunch is hitting everyone hard and we know you want to party more than ever… so we’re keeping advance ticket prices as low as we can. As our New Year’s present to our loyal fans, all advance tickets are being kept to just £20 (London)/£12 (Bgham) and capacity restricted to 1200 (London)/600 (Bgham). But be warned — at the time of going to press almost half of the tickets for o2 were sold out already!!!
See you all there! Peace & Love Happy 2009!!! The Antiworld Crew...
