The magazine is A5 format (A4 folded and stapled) and currently has 40 pages of high-quality work: competitions and reviews, photos and diaries, a members comment Corner for members and Reece Lightning's Spot.

Books
SO HOW MUCH IS ALL THIS GOING TO COST? Well, guess what? There is NO yearly membership fee, no hidden extras, no salesmen and certainly no hassle. You send in all your non-competition work for FREE. Inclusion of your work in the magazine is also entirely FREE, the only charge being for the printed magazine itself, which will cost you only £2.25 per monthly issue. This payment covers the costs of consumables, such as ink, paper and envelopes and stamps etc to send your magazine to you. KEITH, PENNY AND REECE CANNOT, WILL NOT AND DO NOT take a single penny from you. They work on the magazine ENTIRELY FOR FREE. There are competitions every month, which you can enter for a small fee; these are optional, but many members enjoy taking part in them.
Competition winners are awarded first, second and third places. Each of the three places are awarded points, 15 points for first place, 10 points for second place and 5 points for third place. The first member to reach 100 points or more wins a very nice prize which will be sent to the winning member.
If you get a first place in the poetry or short story competitions, you will be sent avoucher which allows you to get your next issue free. All winning places in the several competitions also receive a raffle ticket. The members keep them until the end of the year and if they are picked out in the first three, they will receive a very nice prize.
PLEASE NOTE, all work for the magazine must be received by the 22nd of each month, otherewise there is no guarantee it will be used for that month's publication.
Donations are greatly appreciated from those who wish to send them. They all help to keep the magazine afloat and kicking.
Heroes
ANYTHING ELSE? Keith is a published author. His book 'Anyone Can Write A Book' hit the UK bookshelves in 1997, but is no longer in print. At the present time Keith has three CDs available for purchase. They are in MS Word format and comprise: 'The Simple World of Creative Writing'; 'Tales From Little Willow' - a series of tales in the life of a north Yorkshire village. These works are available for purchase from the Creative Writer UK Magazine at a cost of £1.99p plus 50p postage and packaging. The Little Willow episodes come in an individual A6 book. Keith has just completed a trilogy of science fiction novels in collaboration with Paul G White. Keith and Paul are now established with an Americam Agency and have high hopes of publication soon.

About me: Mr. Keith Argyle, his wonderful wife Penny and international award winning actor and movie star Reece Lightning are proud to bring to myspace CREATIVE WRITER UK magazine.
Keith is the founder and chief editor of this wonderful magazine. He is a published author and just an all round genuine nice chap. Keith's aim through the magazine is to help amateur authors and poets around the UK to see the product of their blood, sweat and tears in print.
The magazine was launched in 2004 and has given many would- be authors around Britain a chance to see their work in print and on release to the UK. Keith is well aware of how difficult is it for new writers to get published and through this magazine dreams can become a reality.
Keith tries to print at least one piece of each member's work in every monthly issue.
Who I'd like to meet: Penny is an angel sent from heaven, the nicest woman to grace the earth. She is Keith's loyal wife and is also a mum and grandma and co - editor on the magazine. Her job is to type all the members' stories and poems; she is also the proofreader. Penny and Keith have been together for 24 years, and the Creative Writer UK magazine has been a joint effort from its inception.
