SCOPE OF PORTRAYAL: Pyrates of the Crimson Blade be of no particular time period. We ask that among your personal effects upon signing on ye bring the desire for fun n adventure.
VERY BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF GROUP'S ACTIVITIES: During
the Summer months, the Crimson Blade plans to have landing parties and forays to The Sterling Renaissance Faire (Sterling, NY), and Bill Johnston's Pirate Days (Alexandria Bay, NY). In the Fall n Winter months the Crimson Pirates be gatherin once a month in Alexandria Bay, NY.
GROUP STATUS: The Crimson Blade takes any n all who needs more pirating in there blood than be normally afforded by the corporate lubbers we work for. Children of pyrates be welcome, too. The 'Powder Monkeys' are part of the crew just as the rest, and we plan events where BOTH can play. There be, on occasion landing parties to taverns where wee grommets should not attend. We welcome any groups or individuals interested or affiliated with reenactments too. Musicians are welcome and needed as well, if ye can play a jig.
GENERAL AREA OF OPERATION: The waters off Alexandria
Bay, New York and any destination we sees fit to land in.

For the longest time I always drank Captain Morgan’s and Pepsi. Well we had no Pepsi at home, so we used the Dr. Pepper instead… Someone later told me it was called a Dirty Pirate... So, dirty pirate it is!
THE CAPTAIN

1/2 muddled lime
2 shots Captain Morgan’s spiced rum
3-4 oz Pepsi
Pour into a shaker, rum with the muddled lime
Strain into an ice filled highball glass, add the Pepsi, and stir.
Garnish with a lime wedge
This is my ideal way to sail with the captain… I love the way the lime makes it taste so different from the way it tastes without the lime.
It is the perfect combination as far as I am concerned!
HURRICANE

1 cup ice cubes
1 fluid ounce light rum
1 fluid ounce dark rum
1 fluid ounce coconut rum
1 fluid ounce vodka
1 fluid ounce gin
1 fluid ounce Chambord (raspberry liqueur)
1 fluid ounce triple sec liqueur
3 fluid ounces orange juice
maraschino cherry for garnish (optional)
orange slices for garnish (optional)
Fill a hurricane glass with ice. Add light rum, dark rum, coconut rum, vodka, gin, raspberry liqueur, triple sec and orange juice. Shake gently, and garnish with orange slices and a cherry, if desired. Beverage will be about the color of a pink grapefruit.

CRAFTERS, ARTISANS & VENDORS for the JULY 19, 2008 second annual PIRATE DAY FESTIVAL to be held in the Town of Clay (New York).
Herkimer's "Tales from Remikreh" team up with Town of Clay's "Pirate's of CHAOS Productions" for a day long festival to include theatre, comedy, sword fighting, archaic weapons demonstrations, music, food, crafts, art and family fun!
