    ..The Croshaw Family is a group of musicians based in London, England who are passionate about classic bluegrass, allternative country, old-time rock'n'roll and showing an audience a great time... ..The band formed in 2006, led by Emma (vocals) and Martin Croshaw (guitar). Will joined on guitar and harmonica, then Bobby on bass guitar and Pete on guitar and ukelele.....Then Bobby left; Chris joined on double bass after seeing the Croshaws in a pub. Martin bought an Apalacian dulcimer. Sarah joined on backing vocals. Pete bought a lap steel.....Martin bought Emma an autoharp. Sarah started leading some songs and playing Martin's piano. Will hit the piano too, and bought a snare drum. Emma and Sarah started playing the snare drum too. Chris still just plays double bass. Martin's taking banjo lessons..... .... ..Since 2006 the Croshaws have built up a bit of a following in south London and there's now a regular slot at The Westbridge pub on Battersea Bridge Road, as well as gigging at many weddings, birthdays and parties... ..In 2008 the band spent a week in North Cornwall, playing gigs in local pubs and trying out some original songs that eventually became the band's first EP, 'A New Morning'...
