"Feeling Alright" -( you have to wait for 27 secs for the song to start) is a recording captured LIVE in a Jamming studio here, and that was actually the first time we were learning the song, hence the background instructions courtesy of Mark .
recorded with a Zoom H4 @ Soundbites studio (Toh Guan),
Sorry, till we are able to have proper FULL clips , you'll have to bear with these first.
We play predominantly classic Rock but we do enjoy mixing it a bit, as in we play whatever we want-no genre limitations e.g Acoustic/folk/funk/top 40's
The year was 1993, Sadeq, Fazli, Adrian and Nicholes were all school mates then , and they started their journey into Rock at that tender age of 13, from G'N'R to Nirvana to U2 until they decided to pursue the roots of Rock 3 years later, and thus, the rest is Rock'n Roll history....
....Ok so maybe I assume too much,
Anyways, the core line-up of Sadeq (Bass) , Fazli(Drums) and Nicholes(Guitars) had remained unchanged over the years.
Close buddies such as Sawhale(2nd Guitars) helped us out immensely in the beginning and we are forever indebted to folks like him.
In Late 1997, The main Trio were christened "Club 27" and they roped in a talented yet shy guitarist VENU(patent pending) from the North side of the Island, to groove out the hardest Jimi Hendrixismsmsms / Grand Funk Railroad/CCR/Santana hybrid of sorts to entertain the retiree rockers who happened to walk by the bustling streets of Somerset/Orchard Road.
In 1999, Club27 disbanded due to our National service "commitments". And Nick was the first to be forced to leave the band as he was sent to an island far far away to learn discipline and respect for authority and how to aim at targets with a M-16.
In 2003, After everybody's "Army" break and hiatus from the music scene, Nicholes, Sadeq, Adrian and Mark De Silva( who was great friends with Club27 in the 90's) happened to be at the same pub at the same time and were happily jamming onstage when they felt a familiar tightness that each of them had felt before a few times once upon a time in their lives, and this time it was not the pants.
It was a feeling they had onstage during their impromptu jam that revived their musical direction.
Well it could have been the beer actually.
To cut the story short, The owner of the pub became our manager and sourced us paid gigs and we have been running the circuit since then.
HA!
But after a while, the pressures of our day jobs and the demands of healthy pay checks had taken its toll on us, and we have now , more or less, made this our hobby but yes , we are still available for bookings if the money is good...HAHAHA
For bookings, pleaze call Mark De Silva- 97609679

As I was reading through your biography flashed across my mind a lot of things such as Seng Chai, the egg with a strand of hair, Conspirancy Pub, Glory Beach Resort (winks at Sadeq), boys talk about certain girls (winks at Nicholes), bell bottoms with boots, Area 22, Crazy Elephant, haunted house at Hillview, haunted house somewhere near Youth Park, Venu taught me the first scale on the Kapok and Nick taught me how to play with feel on my Flying-V, Fazly and Sadeq taught me the meaning of groove. Unforgetable memories.
Where you guys playing now? Can I come up and jam a "Red House Blues" in A?
