hello. as you may know, the rock is opening a shelter for pregnant women. last year, in our county, 8 pregnant women slept on the street because the homeless shelter was full. we have a 3,000 sq ft area that needs work before we can open. right now, there are currently 2 pregnant women who need shelter. we could be open within 2 weeks if we had the funds. we planned a huge fundraiser sat, oct 10th, put $375 into it in promotion and food, and while everyone said it was a great thing, not one person showed up. so now we have to recoup the money we lost before we can begin the shelter.
