Curtis Winchester – (Vocals) Curtis leads the band with his vocal style and stage presence. He brings a “10,000 Kilowatt” smile and a dynamic voice and seems to get the most out of his audience at every performance. He has provided entertainment in the NY Metro area since 1981 as a mobile disc jockey and started singing for local bands in 1984. Curtis has been influenced by several artists, including Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Robert Cray and Marvin Gaye. A “natural” on stage and always the professional, he is well respected and in demand.
Mark Reuter (pronounced roy-ter) – (Harmonicas, rhythm guitar) Mark has the definitive sound for the blues with his skilled harmonica playing. Mark has grown to be one of the harmonica players that others try emulate. He has clearly spent the time and has done the research to present the classic sound that is “the blues”. Mark & Curtis have performed together since 1993 when they formed “Blues Depot”.
P.P.Junior – (Guitars, Vocals) Joined the band in 2007 and has revealed a style of guitar play, professionalism and leadership that has the band in forward thinking mode. An "old school" blues man, P.P. was the longtime leader of recently disbanded PP Junior and the Blue Hawks. The addition of P.P. to the C.W.B. keeps the tradition of great people and players in the band!!
Erik Perez – (Drums) Few drummers in the area can groove like “E”. He can get the room in the right mood from the opening song with his hypnotic beats. His rhythms cast a spell and you find yourself moving to the groove, even if you don’t recognize the song.
Don Hurta – (Bass, Vocals) Don is what bass players should strive to be, thinking about the pocket and staying there. He has been the stabilizing force behind the rhythm section for the CWB from their inception in 2000. Don’s diversity allows him to shine whether he’s playing blues, Motown, big band or top 40.
