The Damnsels are a pop punk band from Moncton who formed in the fall of 2005 by Ilisha French (guitar) and Jinette Comeau (bass). After failed attempts to find a lead vocalist and drummer, Ilisha stumbled (literally) upon Josh Steeves (a.k.a Salty) on new year's eve 2006. They used to go to high school together and Salty (also trained on the french horn) had proved to be a pretty solid drummer. The three set off in motion, with Ilisha as the lead vocalist, and began writing songs and playing gigs around the maritimes.
Here's what local goofball Jesse Jacobs has to say about the band, "The Damnsels are a three piece punk-rock ensemble that sneak up behind you like a vampire and quickly put you under their spell. These fast action-packed songs will attack you like a cold and hungry dog and leave you a bloody pulp, freezing in the dark atlantic night, praying for more."

OK. SERIOUSLY. That video is amazing!!! The life forms in that video are not human. The technology displayed in that video is far more advanced and sophisticated than our own.
The video is also slightly frightening. I can attest that none of us had ever heard or seen that before writing the song V-I-S-I-T-O-R-S Go.
