THE DAMON CARROLL BAND’S music can only be described as going from a James Taylor Sweet Baby James style music all the way to Neil Young’s Southern Man and everything in between. All songs are heartfelt and to the point. This bands energy
comes to life in front of a live audience, which is where they really shine. Damon’s unique high tenor voice along along with the southern rock style lead guitar playing of Scott Knapp and a strong rhythm section make this band an enthusiastic mix of music that will touch your heart and soul. Damon tries to keep the music real to maintain integrity. Damon’s music is based on his own life experiences.

~ April 2, 2009 7:45a.m. Belt, Montana ~ As I pulled my truck out on to the two lane blacktop road of a fresh Montana morning, I put a new CD in my player and settled in for the 30 min. drive thru the snow capped Little Belt mountains to Great Falls. The sunrise illuminated a new day where the deer were criss crossing the road and the eagles were soaring above. As I watched the new day begin to unfold I heard the sounds of an old familiar friend and my thoughts went back in time. Slowly yet steadily the songs gently brought me to a state of being fully awake so that by the time I arrived at my destination I was in full "Jam Mode" to the undeniable notes of "Daddy's Love". My blood was pumping now like a triple capachino had just been shot thru my veins. I know this is the culmination of years of fine tuning not just a craft but a "Calling", a "Have To Do It In Your Soul" kind of thing and all I can say is BRAVO!!!!!! From the words that found their way onto the printed page to the finely selected notes, to the backup musicians and the recording, this is a FINE PIECE OF WORK AND A MUST HAVE CD!! WOW!!! ~ Thank You Damon!
Hi, Damon I love the new album! Looking forward to seeing you and all the other talent April 24 at the Sons of Hermann Hall for the BIG RELEASE! Love you too, Jenni
