The industry is teaming with singer/songwriters; many of them talented but only handfuls have something truly special to offer. D. Ryan falls into the second category. Born and raised in Northern California, he picked up his first instrument in the 4th grade and the rest was destiny. Working in the construction industry for many years rarely gave time for music, but music was certain to find him. To quote the artist himself "Music chooses you, when the music grabs you there is no escaping it."
Daniel is a free spirit, an independent individual who brings incredible passion to everything he does. He is as real as they come. His presence on stage is spellbinding, not only creating connections with the audience but also conveying a message through every song. D. Ryan has made appearances in countless festivals throughout the country, touring everywhere from Washington to Connecticut.
D. Ryan decided to relocate to Nashville, TN in 2007. Shortly after moving to music city he landed a publishing deal and is currently working on his second album along with songwriter Jason Blume. D. Ryan was awarded an LA Music Award in 2003 and has been recognized for his previous album titles "300 Miles From Nowhere" which he recorded with the help of SIS Records out of Salt Lake City, UT.
