The last few months have been very challenging for our band, what with leaving New York behind for sunnier shores, losing a key original member in the process, and acquiring new (and not so new) personnel. God bless Philip and Sue and both of their lovely children. We had to go.
So adiós East Village, buenas noches West Coast! The music scene is much better here for what we do. Building an audience is never easy, but we get GREAT response wherever we go, and there are just so many artists and bands here that we are proud to call our peers. New material is coming to us all the time, just as much as before if not more, our new surroundings pushing us in different but organic directions.
Can't JD be a bouncer, with his "grisly visage" & "superhuman gorilla strength?" Your words, not mine...and his thorough knowledge of bars, late nights, & bands?
Seems like a good fit. Sorry, no leads, but the door guys at Molly's & the Mint are kind, weird, & super-chatty. Maybe he could ask them for leads? If not, it's all craigslist. Good luck boys. xx
First time I seen you guys, really great sound, like the guitar playin', perfect combo of country and rock, nice. I'll be back. Wishbone Ash? Wow that's funny.
