The Darlings has always been sweet, each of them had different other relationships before. Pong, the vocal and guitarist, used to be the vocal and guitarist from Hong Kong local band Love Motel and Kind people. The Bassist Gary used to be the member of the legendary Hong Kong band Jackal's Dream. Drummer Steve is also the member of Love Motel and he also cooperate with different Hong Kong musicians for job like session and arrangement. New member, Ching, is a prefect weapon to add piano sound to a rock and roll band.
The Darlings loves Rock n Roll, you will discover their different style of Rock n Roll. Their first song appeared in the 5th anniversary compilation of 89268 “The 5th Element”. The Darlings’ debut album “Dots, Lines & Shapes” will be released in May 06

Lonely China Day formed at 1996, which is come from Beijing. This 11 years, they've been to Xinxiang, Zhengzhou, Hebei, Shanxi,Tianjin, Shandong and many China country.This year, they've been invited to America tour and invited by SOUTH BY SOUTH-WEST Festival to perform. As a follow-up project for Dialogue with The Ghosts, a group of local experimental artists, in the eve of the Chinese Ghost Festival, continue to re-establish an on-going dialogue with the deceased. Through a series of multi-media art performance aiming to re-interpret and re-activate various local spiritual beliefs and rituals, we will dive into the world of the unknown and attempt to make contact with those from the other side. The ultimate aim, is to confront and acknowledge, those who had been forgotten, but still exist on the other side (or somewhere deep inside). This, we believe, is the only way through which, liberation can be attained.
All audience will receive a copy of limited edition CD (Locd36r) released by Lona Records, containing re-interpretation mix by Alok, Sin:Ned and KWC, on the sound materials of "Dialogue with the Ghosts", as recorded on 07/07/07.

Oh... I got you guys' CD already and it's so cool, surely the live performance I saw was even better. Btw, I was very impressed by the nirvana cover of love motel long time ago (in some nirvana tribute gig). Keep it on, you guys are great trio, I always love trio!
