"The Darts combine high-energy stage presence with a fierce knowledge of crowd dynamics and energetic pace."
- Peter from (SCENE) Metrospace
"One of the bands that I saw in the competition really blew me away. That band would be The Darts. The Darts play an alternating mix of gritty garage rock and smooth, poppy indie rock with some nice guitar noise mixed in. They are sort of like a combination of the Vines, Sonic Youth and a pile of greasy dirty car parts heaped against the wall of a tool shed."
- John Cooper (punkmusic.about.com)
"The perfect way to kick off Hamtramck's portion of Blowout: A band I've never seen before. A band I hadn't planned on seeing. A band that blew me away.....This three-piece killed, powering through their set like something that powers through things. The dude's vocals were all over the place — but I mean that in a good way. One second singing, the next screaming, the next yelping, howling, shrieking. I'm not sure if he headbutt his own mic stand or hit it with his guitar, but in one of his spastic dance moves he cracked it and sent the microphone flying. These kids have balls (no offense to the female in the group). We will meet again."

Great show last night guys! I kept getting pulled up onto the stage, haha! Sorry I couldn't make it to the after party, we aren't the crazy night people we used to be, we're used to getting up early in the morning for school/work, haha. I know it's LAME. Keep in touch! :)
you guys were awesome on saturday! sorry i had to "dart" off early, i believe during your last song, but i had to get home and sleep for community service the next morning. i was still extremely tired. well worth it. we gotta play together again... real soon.\
