The Podcast...
We've started a podcast show called The Datasound Podcast and we're playing all sorts of Alternative music from Indie Rock, Hip Hop, Electronic and whatever else strikes our fancy. Essentially If we're diggin' it, We're gonna play it.
Joe is the DJ/Drummer/Producer/Programmer of the group. He's your host for The Datasound podcast and he loves songs you can dance to and that are "Snappy". Joe is the guy who will hum a melody over and over again in Johns ear until it become exactly what he's looking for.
John is the multi-instrumentalist/Recording Engineer/Producer/Programmer of the group. He's happiest on bass but does very well on the Guitar & Keyboard and knows his way around the studio. He's often known for saying things like "Yes!!! just like that!... but let's do it again... and this time with less SUCK!"
What we're about...
We're about diversity and making as much music as possible. We love all different types of music as you can see in the influences and sounds like section, but for the moment we're focused on two things... The upbeat Indie Dance Rock sound (Hot Hot Heat, The Clash, !!!, The Cure, Franz Ferdinand, The Rapture, Moving Units, The Killers, etc.) and The Moody Melodic Rock sound (Radiohead, Pink Floyd, PJ Harvey, Interpol, The Cure (again), TV on the Radio, Muse, Etc.)
Even though we're focused on our band Marqui Adora at the moment we're also into producing, remixing and scoring.
The cluster fuck that is the Adam Blas Cast continues. We actually Frankenstiened a bunch of different parts to create this Frankenstien of an episode. We try interviewing Misty Haze of mistysxxxgirls.com, but equipment failure stops that from happening. So we decide to drink alot and get Adam to suck on Karyns big toe for five seconds, and then convince the girls to do some nipple licking. If you listen closely you can actually here Adams liver dying in the backround. This winds up becoming the best episode yet so pour a half a bottle of vodka in your favorite glass like Adam did and enjoy this episode of the Adam Blas Cast. Just try not to projectile vomit afterwords like Adam did. Don't be left out of the podcast thousands have listened to.
