Dave Dykes' Dylan-styled folk-pop fused with classic rock reminiscent of The Band and Tom Petty does not leave behind the modern music lover.
If there's any room for criticism, it's that Dykes' songs can be too openly Christian for the masses, too provocative for Christian music, and too thoughtful for passive listeners. But that's precisely why fans of intelligent and catchy songcraft love him.
