Influences
We've all been listening to all kinds of music for most of our lives. We've all had good times and bad times. We all have emotions and thoughts. These influence what we do - have a listen.
The David Imrie Trio are one of Hampshire's most exciting new bands fusing acoustic, folk and bluegrass / alt. country influences to form a dynamic sound that blends with lyrical songs for a great live experience.
David Imrie (vocals, acoustic guitar) is a self taught singer / guitarist and songwriter. Robert Illesh (mandolin, banjo, acoustic guitar) is a respected and much travelled musician who has played with Jethro Tull and is currently touring with Steve Howe of "Yes" fame. Ben Kidds (double bass) is a graduate of the London Royal School of Music and plays in the Army Air Corps orchestra.

Hey boys. Thought you sounded great at the Lights, despite what you may have thought ;) I was singing my little heart out to the songs I know. The new tracks are AMAZING!!! can't wait for the new album to be finished.
Thanks again for the slot on Monday, I had a great night!
I couldnt wait to put your cd on when i received it in my mail! Your latest album sounds beautiful! You are an astoundingly well-rounded musician. I sill cant believe you wrote, recorded, played and sang most of your songs yourself...oh yeah, and packaged and designed ur cds too. How do you do it?!!!!!! Mandolin Song is one of my faves!
Aha! I was wondering when you were going to turn up here! Welcome to the viral networking maelstrom that is myspace!!
The accepted technique seems to be to exchange meaningless platitudes with other bands and people you've never met, in order to further your own marketing effort!
Just don't let it take over your life entirely (Joe has to be prized away from the keyboard these days....)
