.. The Daylight Titans make mighty rock music for the people of Earth. .. Our name is taken from a song. If you type our name into any search engine, you will find out which one. The band has existed in one form or another since 2002 and with its current four members since April 2009... Our newest record is called Boom and Chime. It is available digitally through iTunes, eMusic, Rhapsody and others, and on CD at Waterloo Records in Austin and online through such sites as CD Baby, Amazon, Not Lame, Kool Kat Musik, and others. We are hoping to record another one soon... Our discography includes two EPs and a couple of compilations (which we haven't completely disowned, yet). In 2005, we presented our self-titled full-length debut to the world, and there was some rejoicing. .. Also, our song "Dangle" was also heard in an episode of the acclaimed and sadly departed television show Veronica Mars (air date: April 5, 2005). ..We accept any and all friend requests but we'd appreciate it if you didn't take advantage of our generosity and use our page to post a bunch of advertising or porn or other impolite crap. .. Too many to mention, but if it helps, we have covered songs (at least once) by the Church, the Byrds, the Pretenders, Warren Zevon, the Mothers of Invention, Pavement, the Plimsouls, Stiff Little Fingers, the Replacements, the Ramones, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Heartbreakers (as in Johnny Thunders), Cheap Trick, the Undertones, Joy Division, Flamin' Groovies, David Bowie, Jesus and Mary Chain, Status Quo, INXS, REM, Hoodoo Gurus, Gin Blossoms, Icicle Works, Rolling Stones and Pulp. We also did a Little River Band song once, but we wouldn't say that we're influenced by them.
