Too many to mention, but if it helps, we have covered songs (at least once) by the Church, the Byrds, the Pretenders, Warren Zevon, Pavement, the Plimsouls, Stiff Little Fingers, the Replacements, the Ramones, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, the Heartbreakers (as in Johnny Thunders), Cheap Trick, the Undertones, Flamin' Groovies, David Bowie, Jesus and Mary Chain, Status Quo, REM, Hoodoo Gurus, Gin Blossoms, Icicle Works, Rolling Stones and Pulp.
And we did do a Little River Band song once, but we wouldn't say that we're influenced by them.

What we say:
Post-punk power pop from Deep in the Heart of the South Austin, Texas
What others have said about us:
"An album that just compels you to put up your hands and rock!" - The Rock N' Roll Report
"I've listened to this five times in the last week and it gets better and more crucial with each listen." - Not Lame Recording Company
"This is the kind of magnetic guitar rock that has sadly dissipated over the years since the 80's indie American scenes fostered by Minneapolis, Athens, LA, and Austin- driving rhythms, raging, slashing guitars, and grayscale melodies that just seem to go well with a foul mood and a six-pack of PBR." - Pop Culture Press
"Don’t you just like it when you ‘discover’ a band and they are like some cool secret that you have to share with everyone? Well I’ve just found that band." - Alternative Malta
The Daylight Titans make mighty rock music for the people of Earth. Our name is taken from a song. If you type our name into any search engine, you will find out which one. We have released two EPs, in 2003 and 2004. In 2005, we presented our self-titled full-length debut to the world, and there was some rejoicing. Buy it here If you hope to accumulate a full Daylight Titans discography, we have also contributed songs to a couple of justifiably obscure label compilations. (Good luck with that, but if you find them, please tell the people that put them out that we'd appreciate either a check or even a copy of the CD.) Also, our song "Dangle" was also heard in an episode of the acclaimed and sadly departed television show Veronica Mars (air date: April 5, 2005). We are finishing a new record called Boom and Chime. It will be released digitally this summer with CDs and (hopefully) vinyl to come soon after. We accept any and all friend requests but we'd appreciate it if you didn't take advantage of our generosity and use our page to post a bunch of advertising or porn or other impolite crap. Peace,
DTs
