Formed out from the remains of various metal bands within Hampton Roads, VA, The Day of the Beast draws influence from a wide variety of extreme metal styles. Guitarists Eric and Mike along with drummer Jeremy, vocalist Steve, and bassist Justin, forge a dark and aggressive sounding thrash metal band with mild death and black metal undertones.

The new song is excellent. I think it's a nice improvement over older work, being as good or better than the stand out tracks on your S/T, and the variation in the vocals adds a lot more dimension.
