Interests

  • General

John is in his 30s (commence laughing), lives in New York, loves reality TV (although not as much as he used to) and shows like "24". He also runs The Dead End, sometimes, whenever he has the urge to write about something.

Whitters hails from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in a town she affectionately calls Hell.

In John's spare time he tries to sleep, maybe shower, and spend as much time with his Lil’ Moo as possible.

In Whitters' spare time, she likes to read, fight with her website hosts, or killing someone in WoW.
  • Music

The Radio X Show is all about rock. Old stuff, new stuff, you can hear it on the show.

John lists Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Motley Crue, Saliva, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones as some of his musical pleasures.

Whitters' music list includes Apoptygma Berzerk, Assemblage 23, Depeche Mode, Emilie Autumn, Front Line Assembly, Hungry Lucy, London After Midnight, Nightwish, Paramore, Rasputina, Seabound, Shiny Toy Guns, Sirenia, VNV Nation, Voltaire, Within Temptation, and Zeromancer.

    Her SHORT list.
  • Movies

Some of the movies John and Whitters has seen and loved:
John - Spaceballs, Silence of the Lambs, SAW, Blazin' Saddles, Kiss the Girls, and of course Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Whitters - Donnie Darko, Death Proof, Hot Fuzz, Pride & Prejudice, Ravenous, Run Fatboy Run, Shaun of the Dead, Sweeney Todd, The Number 23, The People Beneath the Stairs, and The Wizard of Oz.
  • Television

If it's bad TV, then John probably watches it. Religiously, he'll work his schedule around 24, House, most game shows, and he'll stop for Yankees baseball (though he does prefer listening to games on the radio). Shut up.

You can find Whitters drooling over episodes of Doctor Who, Are You Being Served?, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Extras, Gilmore Girls, Law and Order, Lois and Clark, London Ink, NCIS, Nip/Tuck, Tin Man, abd Torchwood.
  • Books

John enjoys reading all kinds of crime-novels, with James Patterson being one of his favorite authors.

Whitters loves to read, but has a hard time finishing a book. But of books she's read SOME of include Lord of the Flies (for the 2nd time), Middlesex, Catcher in the Rye (for the 4th time), Skinny Bitch, and Macbeth (for the 2nd time).
  • Heroes

Heroes? Us? Please... we're YOUR heroes!

Idolize us every Wednesday night at 10pm!

Blurbs

About me:

Before Radio X, John was just a music DJ from Long Island, slinging things called "records" on stuff called "turntables" and playing them on something called a "radio." In 2003, he got into the world of Internet radio, and from there things just got crazy.

Radio X was launched in 2005, with a slew of co-hosts sitting alongside John. In the summer of 2008, Whitters added herself to the long, growing list of people that think they can handle John...

John and Whitters will poke fun at the rest of the world, talk about dumb things, and eventually make fun of each other. In addition to the banter, we do play rock ranging from new music from artists like Cage the Elephant, Kings of Leon, and Franz Ferdinand to rock anthems from Guns N' Roses, Metallica, or AC/DC.

We do this show live every Wednesday night starting at 10pm Eastern (9pm Central) and are syndicated on several internet radio stations.

It's the Radio X show... rock and talk radio never sounded this... weird.

Who I'd like to meet:

John would like to meet anyone that's willing to give us money. Or food.

Whitters would LOVE to meet Simon Pegg ^_^
Oh, and Shakespeare.
